Myofascial Trigger Point Release

  • A unique way of releasing Trigger Points
  • Trigger Points are those “knots” and tight “nodules” in your muscles
  • Trigger Points cause pain and limit flexibility and movement
  • Myofascial Trigger Point Release is the particular technique BOOST PHYSIO uses to break down these “knots”
  • This treatment technique is very effective, but can be very painful and is not for the feint-hearted

GAITSCAN Computerised Gait Analysis

  • Patients walk over a pressure plate with over 4,000 sensors
  • The GAITSCAN system analyses 300 frames per second
  • Over 1 million data points provides a wealth of information that cannot be obtained with the naked eye
  • This can help determine the influence of the mechanics of your walking on your injury problem
  • Aids decision making about whether orthotics (innersoles) are needed
