Super knowledgeable and fixed me in 2 sessions!

Sarah at Boost Hendon is an excellent physio, one of the best I’ve ever been treated by. She sorted out pulled muscles in my back in just two sessions and has given me a simple set of exercises and stretches to improve flexibility in my hamstrings where I’ve always been getting niggles. Sarah is brilliant at communicating about where an injury is, carrying out immediate treatment and then providing exercises to do at home that don’t take up much time but are extremely effective. She clearly knows her stuff technically but does not overload you with information and is super positive. I don’t hesitate to recommend.

I visited your surgery in Hendon for a consultation with Sarah last week and popped in today to clarify one or two points. Sarah’s understanding of the issue regarding my knee was first class, her explanations were exceptionally clear when she broke it down for me into plain language that I could understand.

Sarah’s approach was friendly and professional, her attention to detail in order to clarify the most suitable exercises for me was genuinely refreshing, I felt I had the best help possible.

Annie McCambridge who treated me at the Hampstead Practice was excellent in treating my post-surgery of the Promimal Humerus Fracture on my left arm. My re-hab started at the beginning of January for one month with Annie after my operation in the Amsterdam University Medical Centre (AUMC) on 13th December. In one month she created miracles taking me from a sling and pain to achieving outstanding progress in the movements of my shoulder. On the first appointment she immediately impressed me as having a very friendly and calm approach in her manner to treat patients but also her knowledgeable medical background and her wonderful way of starting and increasing my arm’s capability both at each of the 11 meetings but also giving me the push to work on the exercise programmes at home. Step by step with Annie the Physotherapist and the exercises at home achieved my one month improvement. Team work!

My surgeon in Amsterdam was asking how was the work with Annie going and she sent him progress reports after 5 and 11 appointments.

His feedback was that my improvements were very good and Annie’s reports were very professional.

Today 12th February , I had an appointment with my surgeon together with the department physiotherapist and my improvements were above average.

The process of re-hab is quite long for this injury and I will be back in London soon and will ask Annie to treat me on these occasions.

My review is forAnnie Mc Cambridge who works in the Hampstead Practice in Heath Street. I live in the Netherland but was born and brought up in Hampsted. I had a skiing accident in Austria before Christmas and the injury was on my left shoulder and the Proximal Humerus was fractured in 3 places. The hospital in Austria recommended that I return to the Netherlands for the operation. I was in close touch with the University of Amsterdam Medical Centre (AUMC), Trauma department and the operation was perfomed there on 13th December.

I was in London for the month of January and I had to start Physiotherapy and programmed exercises as early as possible. The Hampstead Practice ( Boost Physio) looked to be an ideal clinic to work on post – surgery treatment for me.
