Harry Fountain

Senior Physiotherapist – Borehamwood WD6 & Hampstead Garden Suburb NW11

Harry Fountain is a Senior Physiotherapist at BOOST PHYSIO, specialising in sports injury rehabilitation, post-operative recovery and performance physiotherapy. He sees patients at our Borehamwood WD6 clinic and our Hampstead Garden Suburb NW11 clinic.

Harry's passion for physiotherapy began long before he qualified - it started as a patient. After sustaining a serious football injury, he underwent his first knee surgery at just 11 years old. Years of rehabilitation gave him first hand insight into the physical and emotional challenges of recovery, inspiring him to pursue a career helping others overcome pain, regain confidence and get back to doing what they love.

With over 13 years of clinical experience, including more than a decade in private musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Harry has helped thousands of people recover from injury, manage persistent pain and improve their performance. His treatment approach is hands-on, evidence based and tailored to each individual, combining manual therapy, joint mobilisation and manipulation, personalised rehabilitation programmes and strength and conditioning principles to achieve lasting results, not just short term relief.

Harry has undertaken additional training in acupuncture, dry needling and shockwave therapy, enabling him to offer a comprehensive range of treatment options based on each patient's goals and clinical needs.

Harry works with everyone from office workers and active individuals to competitive and high performance athletes, providing treatment plans that are designed around your lifestyle, goals and recovery timeline. Whether you are recovering from an injury, dealing with ongoing pain, returning to sport or simply looking to move better, Harry is passionate about helping you achieve your goals through practical, effective and personalised care.

Harry's Approach to Treatment

Harry believes that lasting recovery starts with listening. Having been a patient himself from the age of 11, he understands that injury affects more than the body, it affects confidence too. Every plan begins with a thorough assessment so he can treat the root cause, not just the symptoms, then combines hands-on therapy with a personalised rehabilitation programme built around what matters most to that patient, whether that is getting back on the pitch, back to work or simply moving without pain.

"I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the treatment table, so I never lose sight of the fact that recovery is as much about confidence as it is about the physical side. My job is to combine hands-on treatment with a clear, practical plan that gets people back to doing what they love, not just for a short while, but for good."
